It’s September 1st – or as us horror fans know it to be – Halloween Eve. All the cool creepy stuff is showing up in stores, the air is getting cooler and the festive Halloween events are beginning to show up.
Celebrating it 10th year – the 12 Hours Of Terror film festival will once again be returning to the Capitol Theater in Cleveland.
Got all the details for you, straight from the events Facebook page so, read on and prepare for awesomeness!
“It’s our 10th annual, all-night horror movie marathon! This year’s 12 Hours of Terror #12HoT features:
– A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
– Scream (1996)
– Bloody Birthday (1981)
– Parasite 3D (1982)
– Dawn of the Dead (2004)
There will also be TWO secret films presented the night of the event (in years past we’ve had one secret film, this year we have two!). Also, Nightmare on Elm St was the very first film at the very first 12Hot, and thus we are bringing it back. None of the other films on the list have ever played at 12HoT.
Two more notes:
– This year we have moved the start time up by 2 hours from past start times of 8pm to this year’s 6pm.
– Also there is the inaugural Donut Worry Run Happy! at 8:30am event that will close W65th from Detroit, north towards the Edgewater Park tunnel. We’re working w Brewnuts & our neighborhood association to make sure our attendees are able to access their autos & parking lot. We’ll have more info in the coming weeks.
As always: Absolutely NO ONE under 18 years of age will be admitted! The 2019 12 Hours of Terror is part of the Melt Bar and Grilled Late Shift Series.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 day of show. Tickets are available at our box office and online at https://omniwebticketing.com/cleveland/capitol/?schdate=2019-10-19&perfix=45396
The 12 Hours of Terror was named by Cleveland Scene Magazine as the Best Place to Binge Watch Movies That Isn’t Netflix!”
