Some of the fondest memories of my misspent youth is for a few years in a row attending the Todd Rundgren and Utopia shows at the old Richfield Coliseum back in the day. For several years running – it was the place to be on New Year’s Eve – Rundgren has always been a favorite son of the NEO area – and he sold out those shows anytime he played them.
He’s certainly no stranger when it comes to playing other Northeast Ohio venues since then and this May he’ll move into the MGM Northfield for a one of a kind – two-night stand.
Out on his The Individualist, A True Star tour – he will be playing his amazing 1973 album A Wizard – A True Star in its entirety – the catch is – he’ll play half of the album one night – and the other half the second night. The rest of the show will feature hits from his long and successful career.
The shows are May 14th and May 15th, tickets just went on sale and – pretty much only a handful of seats left so, if you want in on this show – I would be CLICKING HERE – and now.
